About the Procedure Room

Located within our outpatient clinic complex, the procedure room is designed for minor surgeries under local anesthesia. It’s fitted with advanced, up-to-date medical equipment, giving our team the flexibility to carry out a range of surgical procedures.

The same professional operating-room physicians are here for you, alongside experienced nurses who provide warm, sensitive care. The procedure room adds even more availability to the department, so you can be seen sooner.

The Procedures We Do Here

Gynecology

Hysteroscopy — a tiny fiber-optic camera is passed into the uterine cavity to find and treat a range of findings, including polyps, fibroids, myomas, and more. It's used when there are symptoms such as bleeding, recurrent miscarriage, or infertility.

Cervical Procedures (Conization & related)

Surgery to correct a poorly formed or blocked membrane that's causing problems or affecting function, or to remove pre-cancerous findings on the cervix. When a patient prefers to have these done without general anesthesia, they're carried out here in the procedure room

Podiatry

Surgery to remove an ingrown toenail, when home care hasn't helped and the situation has worsened to the point of needing surgery. These procedures are done under sedation.

Plastic & General Surgery

Removal of various skin lesions on the face, hands, or elsewhere on the body, performed by plastic surgeons — minor procedures to remove skin growths (excisions) and other lesions such as moles and lipomas, including any suspected of being cancerous.

Urology

Cystoscopy — a test to find and diagnose problems in the urinary system such as bleeding, recurrent infections, burning, and even tumors. It's done using a cystoscope, an instrument containing a telescope, through which various tools can be passed to take biopsies, remove growths, and carry out other treatments.

See and Treat — the most advanced approach

Our hysteroscopy uses the See and Treat method — the most advanced approach in the field, letting doctors carry out a whole range of surgical procedures quickly and without anesthesia. A tiny fiber-optic camera is guided into the uterus so the doctor can see inside the uterine cavity while making the diagnosis — and if you’d like, you can watch the procedure on a screen too.

Important to Know:

Members of Maccabi and Meuhedet HMOs are accepted at the clinic upon presentation of a referral only. The referral must be brought in printed form. Alternatively, patients may present Form 17 or pay according to the hospital’s price list.
Members of Leumit and Clalit HMOs are accepted upon presentation of Form 17 or payment according to the hospital’s price list.
