Women scheduled to end their pregnancy with a planned (elective) cesarean can choose to have the procedure through our private track.
Our various private tracks let you choose your own surgeon and enjoy a range of additional paid for services.
The private tracks
Agreements with the HMOs' supplementary insurance plans (Shaban)
For Meuhedet members
- Please come to your preliminary consultation with a dedicated authorization from your HMO for a “supplementary-insurance consultation.”
- Arrange a financial authorization for the private cesarean in advance, and settle any co-payment your HMO requires.
For Leumit members
- The preliminary consultation, held in the hospital’s outpatient clinics, costs ₪200.
- Arrange a financial authorization for the private cesarean in advance, and settle any co-payment your HMO requires.
Reimbursement through private insurance
Private health policies vary from one insurer to the next, and from one policy year to another. Because of this, please check directly with your own insurance company about the amount you’ll be entitled to claim back.
In these cases, you pay the hospital directly, and if you’re found eligible, the reimbursement is then paid to you by your insurer.
Private (self-pay) track
- Book a preliminary consultation with a doctor of your choice — from among the division’s senior specialist physicians — by calling 03-6153770.
- Once you’ve chosen your doctor, had the consultation, and planned the surgery, a date will be set.
- Payment should be settled two weeks before the scheduled surgery date.
