About the unit
Urogynecology is the field that diagnoses and treats a range of pelvic-floor disorders — including pelvic organ prolapse, problems with bladder and bowel control, and unusual tears following childbirth. It’s estimated that more than a third of the adult population will experience at least one such condition, yet many women don’t seek treatment or prevention, simply because they aren’t aware of the options available to them.
Our unit’s team specializes in treating the full range of pelvic-floor disorders. In the unit’s clinics, we diagnose using advanced tools, determine the right course of treatment, and — where needed — refer patients for surgery.
