Infertility can stem from all sorts of causes: irregular periods, insufficient sperm, mechanical issues in the female system (fallopian tubes, the uterine lining, and so on), and even halachic infertility, where ovulation falls before the time of immersion (mikveh). The good news is that today most fertility problems can be treated, and a healthy pregnancy achieved.
The Gefen Clinic specializes in diagnosing and treating fertility issues, along with related concerns such as hormonal changes, endocrine problems tied to the menstrual cycle, ovarian reserve, recurrent miscarriage, and more.
Alongside broad medical expertise, fertility care also calls for attention to the halachic side and a great deal of sensitivity. Our team walks with each person, offering a full circle of care — diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and emotional support.
Treatments at the clinic
- Ovulation induction — through oral medication or hormonal treatment by injection.
- Insemination — sperm preparation (“washing”) and intrauterine insemination.
- Counseling — on a range of topics, including menstrual disorders; questions related to niddah (bleeding after a cesarean, early ovulation); effects of hormonal conditions (excess hair growth, acne); assessment of ovarian reserve; and more.
- All treatments are accompanied by follicle monitoring (ultrasound and blood tests) at the hospital, plus daily support from a fertility nurse.
